Echocardiography Laboratory

Echocardiography lab of Imam Ali Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center is equipped non-invasive cardiac imaging department.

The aim of echo department is to serve all patients in the best way and to reduce the burden of heart disease in the country. Advanced echocardiography modalities and procedures is performed by experienced faculty members’ expert in cardiac imaging and training echocardiography fellows. Tran’s thoracic echocardiography (TTE), Tran’s esophageal echocardiography (TEE), Stress echocardiography, are in this ward.

Moreover, portable and non-portable echo venders are seated in all medical, surgical and emergency wards that are used for TTE to provide good service for bedside, elective pre-procedural, post-procedural and emergent echocardiography.

Furthermore, intra operative TEE, sometimes epicardial echocardiography, and 2D-3D TTE and TEE in cath-lab or EP lab during interventional procedures are also among the most advanced echocardiography exams.
